About our rafting club

While we may be considered one of the youngest clubs in Bosnia and Herzegovina, our achievements speak volumes about our unwavering dedication and exceptional talent. The Banja Luka Dajak Club proudly boasts the title of reigning Bosnian and Herzegovinian rafting champions, and our team is comprised of the country’s finest athletes, setting us apart from the rest.

Our triumphs extend beyond the world stage. Over the years, we have consistently showcased our prowess at the European championships, bringing home four medals from Slovakia (2018), Slovenia (2016), and our very own Bosnia and Herzegovina (2015). In addition, our unwavering commitment to excellence shines through at local competitions throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina, where we consistently achieve top-notch results.

Rafting Team

Our journey to greatness reached unprecedented heights at the 2022 World Rafting Championship, organized by the prestigious International Rafting Federation (IRF). With sheer determination and skill, we clinched an impressive total of five medals, solidifying our dominance in the field. In all disciplines, our team secured four world rafting medals, earning a remarkable second-place finish overall. Notably, our men’s open team achieved a coveted medal in the thrilling H2H discipline.

Leading our remarkable team is the indomitable Captain Dragan Babić, a true force to be reckoned with. His exceptional skills and leadership qualities were recognized when he was selected as the best athlete of the city of Banja Luka in 2015. And our club’s commitment to excellence has not gone unnoticed, as the city administration of Banja Luka proudly declared us the best sports collective in the city.
